Honouring Traditional Territories and Communities with Respect. With deep respects and compassionate listening, we acknowledge and honour that the land we operate on is Traditional Territory since time immemorial. With this knowing first, we offer deep gratitude to the spirit and creator of the land during each earth event and eco-trip. Before adventuring on traditional territory, TWP calls in our respects, thanks and arrival onto the land. Where feasible, TWP works with Indigenous-owned parks to support and better understand traditional practices, connection and preservation of land. TWP operates on traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee and the Wendat peoples and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples.
